Homemade syrup tapped from hardwood maple trees on our farm in Galesburg, Michigan. Our maple syrup is naturally sweet and absolutely divine!
We tap the sap from hard maple trees on our 20 acre property in the late winter or early spring.
We boil the water out of the sap in a large homemade boiling rig. By the end of this process, 40 gallons of sap will make about one gallon of syrup.
We then filter the boiled down syrup and ensure that the syrup has the right crystal content.
Pour over pancakes, waffles, or french toast. Better yet, use our maple syrup as a sweetener in coffee, chili, or dipping sauces.
